I want to apply for a Federal Law enforcement agency but I want to gain military experience?
I want to apply for a Federal Law enforcement agency but I want to gain military experience in the Army. Which would be the better route for me Enlisted or Officer?? Which would be the best branch for me? I was thinking either Military Intelligence Corps or Military Police Corps?
I’m in ROTC now

Well if your in ROTC now you should just go officer. The two jobs that you stated you were interested in are not that big of combat jobs. If you want military experience that will give you experience for a Federal law enforcement job you really should try to get a combat job. A combat job would weigh more to agencies like the FBI and ATF or US Marshall’s. You could become an Infantry Officer in the army and possibly get deployed but it will look very good on your resume’. Choose officer:
the pay is better, and you will be in control and start off at a 2nd LT.
You got to look at it this way,
enlisted is like the workers and officers is like the managers they guide and controll what the enlisted men do. But dont think that because your an officer you dont have to do anything because the motto is lead my example. So you will be right out there with them only your the one in controll

Well, you’re on the right track. Finish your degree, commission as an officer, ask for Military Intelligence. You might not get it, but it’s still good experience for a Federal position.
