what should i do. i am so scared?
i am pregnant with triplets. they original due date was december 8. i have had a really hard pregnancy and now the doctor is telling me there is a 50/50 chance that 1 or more of the babies will be stillborn or die right after birth. he says i can go they can have a emergency c-section tomorrow or i could deliver as normal on my due date. if i give birth tomorrow he says that all babies will have to stay at the hospital for 2 months and could still pass. what should i do
i have asked family and friends all of them say the same thing do what you think is right now i dont know what to do
Ask your doctor what the best chance is for all the babies to survive and do that. At this point, the babies should be healthy enough to be born with little trouble. You don’t tend to carry multiples to full term anyway. It’s up to you, but if the C-section tomorrow is the safest thing for the babies, I would do that.

Definitely ask strangers online rather than ask your family or friends.

That’s a really hard decision, but congratulations
Um, I would say that if you want to really keep all of ur babies then you might have to go to the thingy tomorrow, but I’m just thinking how hard it would be to not see ur kids for 2 months, and it might be a struggle for them to survive without mommy’s milk and mommy.
But, if you’ll take a chance and go on December 8th, then it would be very sad if you lost one of your kids.
Im sorry if this didnt help much… but im only 13
Good luck!

to the second poster, don’t be such a b*****.
If I were you, I would get steroids to mature the babies lungs (I had this when I had my son at 28 weeks, two days before he was born). THIS HELPS THEM SO MUCH
And you are actually just a few weeks away from full term. If it was me, (and this depends on how big they are and all that stuff), I would personally get the steroid shot and plan a c-section for a few days from now after the shot has given them time to mature.
Good luck
Edit: This doesnt mean you can’t see the babies – you can stay there all day every day and pump milk for them. I did for my son. They put a feeding tube down their nose and give them the breast milk this way.

Oh my goodness! I feel for you hun. That’s got to be a really tough call. I’d go for the c-section though. My sister had twins and as it got closer and closer to her due date, the babies weren’t getting the nutrition they should have been and she would’ve greatly benifited to having them a little earlier. However, i dont know your situation and your doctor will be able to give you the best advice. Dont forget that most mulitiples have to stay in the hospial for a while anyway because they are generally smaller and need more care and nutrition. I wish you the best and hope everything will be just fine.
Sencerly, mother of 4

If your due date is Dec 8th then you are almost 38 weeks pregnant already. It sounds like the babies would be ok. If it was me I would go ahead and do it if that is what your doctor thinks is best. Good luck to you and all three babies.
